Summer

Hello folks-
I thought it is about time to give a brief up date. It is summer now here in New York and hot. A heat wave has been announced for the next few days. The only thing that always gets me in the summer here is the humidity, it is hard to cope with. But we people always have something to say about the weather, maybe because it is something we don't have under control and just need to deal with it, sort of a reminder to the gods in the good old days?

I finished shooting a short film a few weeks ago which should be screened in August. I am also still teaching my tap workshop at the bridge for Dance in New York which is much fun.

Right now I am working on a project with my friend Jay. We are preparing and then shooting a music short film of his piece Evil Eye based on E. A. Poe's short story the Tell Tale Heart. I am excited about the project even though it is a huge learning process again. Originally developed for stage the piece has been re-written for screen. And so now the process of filming, and recording is a challenge. We are still trying to figure out the best way to shoot it and then record the music and combine those.... long story. But in the end we will have done a great job and all will have learned something new and be richer in experience. I am still so curious as to what it will be, how it will turn out.

Then in September I will go to London - Berlin - Essen. More to that later, but I am preparing for that, vocally, physically and mentally......
